Waters Micromass Quattro Micro GC
The Quattro micro GC is a tandem quadrupole mass spectrometer equipped with dedicated electron impact (EI) and chemical ionisation (CI+/CI-) sources. Samples can be introduced via gas chromatography (GC/MS/MS), direct insertion probe (DIP) or desorption chemical ionisation (DCI) probes. It is a powerful mass spectrometry tool for quantitative trace analysis.
The Quattro micro GC offers:
- Complete range of automated real time MS/MS experiments: Multiple Reaction Monitoring, Product Ion, Precursor Ion and Neutral Loss/Gain.
- >5 orders of linear dynamic range
- Dedicated Electron Impact (EI) and low temperature positive and negative Chemical Ionisation (CI+/-) sources with source isolation valve for rapid source exchange.
- Hexapole collision cell for enhanced ion containment and transmission
- Mass-flow controlled CI reagent gas
- Low noise/high gain long-life photomultiplier detector
- MassLynx™ 4.0 …the market leading Targeted Mass-Informatics™ platform
- State-of-the-art vacuum system featuring air cooled split-flow turbomolecular pump
Agilent 6890 GC
The Agilent 6890 GC is a state-of-the-art gas chromatograph that provides superior performance for all applications. Key to its performance is the use of advanced electronic pneumatic control (EPC) modules and high performance temperature control. Each EPC unit is optimized for its intended use with a specific inlet and detector option.
The Agilent 6890 Series gas chromatograph system delivers high levels of performance. The Agilent 6890 series GC features electronic pneumatics control of all gas pressures and flows. On-board sensors automatically compensate for ambient temperature changes and barometric pressure differences to routinely achieve more accurate and reproducible results. By providing stable results, EPC reduces recalibration frequency and improves laboratory productivity.
The Agilent 6890 GC is considered as one of the best gas chromatograph systems today, producing excellent performance for many applications. Overall thermal performance of the Agilent 6890 GC, it provides optimal chromatography including retention time repeatability, peak symmetry, and retention index accuracy, while allowing for fast GC results. The accurate temperature together with its precise pneumatic control leads to outstanding retention time repeatability, the basis for all chromatographic measurement.
